Bardiya National Park is a protected area in Nepal that was established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. Covering an area of 968 km2 it is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area of Nepal. The tranquil atmosphere gives you a feel of being amidst the nature.

Bardia has got giant Karnali River flowing by the park and boating on the Karnali is a great way to see the birds. One could see the Ruddy Shellduck, Oriental Pied Hornbills, Night Herons and Purple Herons.
